If you have followed The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights reality series, you could say that the two opposing coaches; two former UFC light-heavyweight champions, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans don’t like each other.

No, hate each other must be more like it.

Displaying genuine animosity, the two trash-talked at every opportunity they can and almost fought inside the TUF house on more than one occasion.

Originally scheduled for UFC 107, the Rampage Jackson vs Rashad Evans bout was canceled when Rampage (30 wins, 7 losses) decided to venture into acting playing as B.A. Baracus in the movie The A-Team.

Evans (14 wins, 1 loss) meanwhile fought Thiago Silva to a Unanimous Decision victory at UFC 108.

On May 29, 2010, the biggest grudge match in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship will finally happen.

This is expected to be the biggest pay-per-view show in company history that doesn’t have a championship match.

if only rampage followed it up in the 3rd round, he should have won.. sigh, what a disappointing perfromace by rampage..

  2. Jerry Says:

    The fight was overhyped.

Rampage was tentative. Nice game by Rashad though.
