Which is better, Infolinks or Clicksor?
Today, I decided to stick to one and junk the other.
I have been utilizing Infolinks since April 2009 while Clicksor only last November 2009.
Both of these advertising networks offer a good complement to Google Adsense. I use Infolinks for its in-text ads (those links that appear in texts of a web page) while I use Clicksor for its interstitial ads (those ads that appear in-between pages).
However, after 6 months of experimenting, I now decided to replace Infolinks for its in-text ads with Clicksor.
Why?
Here are data I gathered from November 16, 2009 (the day I first used Clicksor) to May 31, 2010.
Infolinks earnings: $157.18
Clicksor earnings: $219.75
Analysis:
Even though Infolinks ads generated 5,263 clicks from 706,238 page impressions, I only earned $157.18 in 6 months.
While Clicksor only generated 120 clicks from 410,916 page impressions, I earned a much higher $219.75 in the same time period.
You mights ask, how did you earn that amount with only 120 clicks?
Clicksor’s interstitial ads pay on a pay per view basis. So even though nobody clicks on the ads, I still earn based on how many page impressions I got.
I see huge potential in Clicksor’s earning powers. If I can earn based on only page impressions, how much more if clicks are added to the picture?
This is why from now on, my in-text ads will that be of Clicksor instead of from Infolinks.
Clicksor pays via Paypal and you can be paid right after you earned $50 after 15 days.
Addendum:
Many web site owners say that the Google Adsense + Infolinks combo works for them. That has not been the case for me. I suggest that you experiment with what works best for you too.

hindi rin nagwowork sa akin yung infolinks and thinking to switch to clicksor just like what you did. question po meron din po bang feature yung clicksor na macocontrol mo kung saan lang lilitaw yung link nila, i mean kung may specific blog entry ka na walang lilitaw na clicksor link?

I recommend you try Kontera. I tried infolinks and clicksor and found Kontera to produce the best results.

I have been wanting to add Clicksor or Infolinks to my blog. One question, doesn’t it have any considerable effect on loading time? Sometime ago, I read about someone dropping Kontera from his blog due to a loading time effect.

I actually observe that Google Adsense ads load slower than those of Clicksor or Infolinks.

Hi, this is Sarah from Infolinks. I appreciate your review on In Text advertising companies but am rather surprised by the results. Infolinks has won every a/b test, comparing us to a competitor, that people posted about. I’d like to invite you to send me your details so I can have a look at your account & optimization. Thanks.
Sarah

I think not. Clicksor ads only show kasi sa mga visitors coming from the search engine that are based in the US and UK.

Hi there kababayan. I’d read in here that you choose clicksor rather than infolinks, but I am seeing infolinks ads in this blog.
But anyway, I am also new to this blogging and I even pay just to lure traffic to my blog. I have infolinks ads in my blog already and just today clicksor send me the approval to put their ads on my blog. Well I guess I cannot put these two on the same page so I need to choose one.
You said about in-text ads, “those links that appear in texts of a web page” and interstitial ads “those ads that appear in-between pages”. I really don’t have any idea what interstitial ads are.
Well silly me, but I do not know it really. please help.. Do you mind checking out my blog… it’s hollywoodmoviestowatch.blogspot.com
Thanks!

I decided to use them both. Infolinks for the in-text ads and clicksor for the interstitial ads. It works better that way after several experiments.
Interstitial ads are those ads that appear in-between pages. While you are browsing through the pages of this web site, a full page will appear full of ads. Those are interstitial ads.

I’m using Clicksor on other blogs, but I’ve only earned $0,10 a day.
Thanks for sharing
