Just a little more than a week after the last Strikeforce event at Los Angeles last June 16, 2010, another Strikeforce event will be held to satisfy the appetite of MMA fans.

Hoping to erase the stigma and put Strikeforce back in the MMA world due to an incident that came to be known as the Strikeforce brawl, the organization is holding another event on June 26, 2010 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, USA.

Strikeforce: Fedor vs Werdum is a great event as its features arguably the best male and female fighters of the world in Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos.

Fedor will meet Fabricio Werdum in a main event heavyweight matchup while Santos defends his Women’s Featherweight Championship title against Jan “Cuddles” Finne in the co-main event.

Main Card

* Heavyweight bout: Fedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum – Werdum defeated Fedor via Submission (verbal tapout) at 1:33 of round 1.
* Women’s Featherweight Championship bout: Cristiane Santos(c) vs. Jan Finney – Santos defeated Finney via TKO (strikes) at 2:56 of round 2.
* Middleweight bout: Cung Le vs. Scott Smith – Le defeated Smith via TKO (strikes) at 1:46 of round 2.
* Lightweight bout: Josh Thomson vs. Pat Healy – Thomson defeated Healy via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:27 of round 3.

Preliminary Card

* Light Heavyweight bout: Yancy Medeiros vs. Gareth Joseph – Medeiros defeated Joseph via KO (punches) at 1:19 of round 2.
* Lightweight bout: Bobby Stack vs. Derrick Burnsed – Stack defeated Burnsed via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28).
* Welterweight bout: Brett Bergmark vs. Vagner Rocha – Bergmark defeats Rocha via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-26).
* Middleweight bout: Ron Keslar vs. Chris Cope – Cope defeats Keslar via TKO (strikes) at 4:32 of round 2.

This MMA event will be aired LIVE on network television at Showtime in the USA and on Super Channel in Canada on June 26, 2010. The LIVE show will start at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT / 3AM BST . The unaired prelims will start at 5:00 PM.

However, if you can’t watch it on TV, several sites will actually offer it for free like Justin TV, Freedocast, LiveStream and UStream. You just have to look for them patiently.
