After losing 5 of his last 7 fights in the Octagon, the last two via devastating knockout losses against Ryan Bader and Thiago Silva, you could say that Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine’s career is on the edge of the cliff.

In the co-main event of The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 Finale, on June 19, 2010, at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, he is given a chance to stage a comeback.

Standing in his way is Matt “The Hammer” Hamill.

In a brutal 3-round battle, Hamill might have finally pushed Jardine’s career off the cliff winning by majority decision. It also left Jardine’s face a bloody mess.

The judges scored it 29-27, 29-27 and 28-28.
