Originally scheduled to meet at UFC 106, the Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin fight was cancelled when Lesnar had to pull out due to an illness that kept him from training.

As the title was temporarily vacant, the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization decided to create an interim heavyweight championship which was disputed by Shane Carwin and Frank Mir at UFC 111 and won by the former.

Now that The Juggernaut is healthy, the two will finally meet for the UFC Undisputed Heavyweight Championship in the main event of UFC 116: Lesnar vs Carwin, to be held on July 3, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada,  USA.

It is billed as “The Biggest Heavyweight Battle in History!”

If you have the money, you can watch UFC 116 LIVE via pay-per-view on Saturday, July 3, 2010 – 7PM PT / 10PM ET / 3AM BST through Yahoo! Sports or at the UFC 116 web site. Charge starts at $44.99.

However, if you can’t watch it on TV, several sites will actually offer it for free like UFC 116 Justin TV, Freedocast, LiveStream and UStream. You just have to look for them patiently.

You can also watch it on your favorite UFC 116 Sopcast channel.
