After being ranked as 57th on last year’s list, Manny Pacquiao is two notches higher on this year’s Forbes Celebrity 100 list at #55.

The Forbes magazine is one of the most famous business magazines in the world and is well-known for its lists. Its Celebrity 100 is its annual list of famous and financially influential celebrities in the field of entertainment and sports.

Talk-show host Oprah Winfrey regains the top position which she held for two consecutive years from 2007-2008 before being knocked-off last year by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie who dropped to #18.

Each celebrity was ranked according to his earnings and exposure in the internet, print and television.

Oprah was ranked #1 on the Money and TV/Radio ranks.

Tennis superstar Roger Federer topped the Press rank while Lady Gaga is number on the Web and Social Ranks.

Manny Pacquiao earned $42 million for the year and here’s his ranking for every category: Money (47th), TV/Radio (52nd), Press (52nd), Web (64th) and Social  (60th).

Check out Manny’s spot in Forbes’ web site here. He and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (who is higher at #31) are the only boxers in the list.

A total of 18 athletes made it to the list with golfer Tiger Woods at the top ranked #5 overall.

The basketball stars who made it are recent NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant (14th), Michael Jordan (20th), reigning NBA MVP LeBron James (28th) and Shaquille O’Neal (52nd).
