The 2009-10 NBA season had already wrapped up!

The LA Lakers had won its 16th championship in a grueling seven-game 2010 NBA Finals series against its nemesis the Boston Celtics.

The 2010 NBA Draft was held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City last June 24 with the Washington Wizards selecting John Wall from the University of Kentucky with the number one pick.

Let’s now dabble into the 2010 NBA free agency market.

This year’s market is one of the deepest in recent memory as it features the biggest names in the NBA.

Obviously, the biggest name of them all is the NBA’s MVP for two years running, Lebron James. With NBA teams in a virtual race to get his services for the 2010-11 NBA season, this has became known as ‘”The Summer of Lebron”.

Rumors abound that he will go to the New York Knicks although it can also be argued that he will stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers or go to the Chicago Bulls where Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah awaits.

Two of Lebron’s classmates from the deep 2003 Draft Class are also free agents, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Other superstars like Shaquille O’Neal Dirk Nowitzki, Amar’e Stoudemire, Joe Johnson, Carlos Boozer, Yao Ming, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rudy Gay and David Lee are also for the picking.

Check out the complete list of players comprising the 2010 NBA free agency class.

Free agency for the 2010-11 NBA season begins at 12:01 AM ET on July 1, 2010.

Let’s get it on!
