The cast from the 1990-91 season of the comedy and variety TV show Saturday Night Live is having a reunion!

Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider all teamed-up once again in a comedy film, Grown Ups.

Not coincidentally, the movie’s plot depicts the gang in a reunion.

Five best friends (Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider) from junior high reunite over 30 years later in the wake of the death of their old basketball coach and decide to spend the Independence Day weekend together with their families at the lake house where they celebrated their championship.

After leading the LA Lakers to a hard-fought seven-game series with the Boston Celtics, Kobe Bryant got his 5th championship ring and second consecutive NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award.

By doing so, Kobe once again proved to detractors that he can carry a team to a crown and that last year was no fluke.

As Shaq’s side kick during the Lakers three-peat  from 2000-2002, Kobe is one of my favorite NBA players.

With just a 10.3% chance of winning the 2010 NBA Draft Lottery last May 18, 2010 in Secaucus, New Jersey, USA, the Washington Wizards were able to land the rights for the #1 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

In the 2010 NBA Draft held on June 24, 2010 at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, USA, the team selected John Wall.

John Wall is a 2010 National Player of the Year finalist who played point guard for the University of Kentucky.

Ever wondered what that’s endless, incredibly annoying sound that sounds vaguely like a swarm of bees (play it here) you hear when you watch the soccer matches at the 2010 FIFA World Cup?

That’s the sound of the vuvuzela.

The vuvuzela is a South African musical instrument traditionally made and inspired from a kudu horn. It is most used at soccer matches in South Africa, and it has become a symbol of South African soccer as the stadiums are filled with its loud and raucous sound that reflects the exhilaration of supporters.

Originally scheduled to meet at UFC 106, the Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin fight was cancelled when Lesnar had to pull out due to an illness that kept him from training.

As the title was temporarily vacant, the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization decided to create an interim heavyweight championship which was disputed by Shane Carwin and Frank Mir at UFC 111 and won by the former.

Now that The Juggernaut is healthy, the two will finally meet for the UFC Undisputed Heavyweight Championship in the main event of UFC 116: Lesnar vs Carwin, to be held on July 3, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada,  USA.

It is billed as “The Biggest Heavyweight Battle in History!”

Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin are supposed to meet at UFC 106.

However, Brock Lesnar pulled out of the fight due to an illness that kept him from training.
