Out of the 204 competing national teams in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, only two remains.
On July 11, 2010, 2:30 PM EST at the Soccer City, Johannesburg, South Africa, Spain and Netherlands will meet in the Finals for the honor and glory of being crowned the best football team in the world.
This will be the first time for both teams to make it to the Finals and the first matchup since 1978 between two teams that have never won the World Cup before.
It is also the first World Cup final not to feature at least one of Brazil, Italy, Germany or Argentina
Whoever wins then will be making history.
The Netherlands were beaten finalists in 1974 and 1978, while Spain’s best performance was fourth place in 1950.
Get your vuvuzelas ready!
