In the undercard for the Marquez vs Diaz 2 rematch, two boxers gets to tangle for the vacant WBO Middleweight Title.

On July 31, 2010,  Daniel “The Golden Child” Jacobs and Dmitry Pirog will meet inside the ring at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

American Daniel Jacobs (20-0, 17 KOs) is the current NABO and NABF Middleweight champion. As a young and upcoming prospect at only 23 years of age, he gets to vie for his first world title.

Russian Dmitry Pirog (16-0, 13 KOs) is the current WBC Baltic middleweight  champion. Like Jacobs, he is also undefeated and is also gunning for his first world title.

UPDATE: Daniel Jacobs Lost his NABO and his NABF Middleweight titles as well as the vacant WBO Middleweight title when he was knocked out by Dmitry Pirog in the 5th Round!
