This one’s becoming viral.

After TMZ first reported yesterday that it has obtained footage of mixed-martial artist Roger Huerta engaging in a street fight in Austin, Texas this weekend, the video immediately spread like wildfire (read article and watch video here).

After all, its seldom you see an MMA fighter fighting outside sanctioned bouts.

The last person who made a name for himself and became an Internet sensation when videos of him challenging and fighting some big punks on the street were posted on YouTube was Kimbo Slice.

But that’s another story. This one’s different.

Roger Huerta nicknamed as “El Matador” in the MMA circles was apparently in front of a bar when some other people began fighting.

When he saw a guy sucker punched a woman and she collapsed on the ground, he confronted the attacker saying, “You just punched a f**kin’ girl.”

This is when riot ensued as Huerta beat the hell out of the poor guy.

Or so TMZ claims. Cagepotato reports that it is not Roger Huerta.

In a TMZ interview today, Huerta admits it is him saying,

I just don’t think that it’s right to hit a woman. Period.

I got the better of him and I left.

If that was my mom, if that was my sister, my spouse, anyone … I would’ve wanted someone to step in and do something about it.

Wow, Huerta is already living his character in the movie Tekken.

In the film adaptation of the street fighting video game, he plays Miguel Caballero Rojo; a brawler who wants to take revenge on Mishima Zaibatsu for killing his sister in a shootout in his home country of Spain.

What a way to promote a movie. Albeit not intentionally done.
