In one of the main card matchups for “200: Celebrate and Dominate” boxing event featuring Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora, a young and upcoming boxer meets a former world champion.

Mexican Saul “El Canelo” Alvarez (33 wins – 0 loss – 1 draw, 25 KOs) is ranked 2nd at Super Welterweight by the WBC and is the current NABF Welterweight and WBC Silver Super Welterweight Champion.

He is considered by many boxing analyst as a top Welterweight prospect and thought to be the next great champion from Mexico.

Of his last 11 bouts, 10 were by knockout with six within the first 3 rounds.

Out to meet him is former WBC/Ring Magazine world welterweight champion, Carlos Baldomir.

Argentine Carlos “Tata” Baldomir (45 wins – 12 losses – 6 draws, 14 KOs) as been in great fights with Zab Judah, Arturo Gatti, Vernon Forrest and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Baldomir stated in a pre-fight interview that he wants the winner of Mora vs Mosley, as he said “after I knock out Saúl Álvarez”.
