Mexicans love the sports of boxing so much. After all, many of the past, present and future boxing champions are Mexicans.
It’s no wonder then that in the celebration of the 200th Mexican Independence Day, one boxing event will be held as part of its weekend activities.
It is aptly titled, “200: Celebrate and Dominate”.
Its powerful fight card features a main event between “Sugar” Shane Mosley and Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora.
Mosley has dispatched all of his Mexican opponents before and never yet lost to one with Mexican blood and Mora is hoping to end that streak as well as Mosley’s boxing career for good.
If you think that’s the only one worth watching on HBO pay-per-view, the undercard promises to be one of the strongest in recent memory as it features present and former world champions in Carlos Baldomir, Daniel Ponce de León, Saul Alvarez and Vivian Harris.
