The previous episode is all about “respect”.
Jon Fitch wants respect and would take a guy who has no talent and out of shape but listens over a talented guy who won’t listen and thinks he knows everything.
Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres still won’t shut up and is now pulling pranks gaining him everything from his housemates except respect. But he don’t care.
It’s also hard not to respect a drunken Muay Thai master because you might never know what he’ll do to you in that state (see Jackie Chan).
UFC Legend and TUF 11 coach Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell drops by at the Team Koscheck training and everybody still respects him despite coming off a knock-out loss to Rich Franklin at UFC 115. Yes, he still wants to beat the crap out of Tito Ortiz.
And in that episode’s fight, Nam Phan despite looking like a college kid gains respect when he wins over Spencer Paige even breaking his leg and hand and showing the Americans that, “little Asian boys can scrap.”
The post-fight shows Josh Koscheck and his fighters in an utter disrespect of their downed opponent.
At the end of Episode 5, it’s Team GSP 3, Team Koscheck 1.
In The Ultimate Fighter Season 12 Episode 6, fresh off their first win, Team Koscheck’s cockiness angers Team GSP and a hard training session turns bloody for Georges St-Pierre.
There will be two matchups at this episode as well.
Watch all of these in The Ultimate Fighter Season 12 Episode 6.
TUF s12e06 titled “Win or Die” will be shown at Spike TV on October 20, 2010.
