As expected, Google has not just one but a series of five doodles at their home page today to celebrate the scariest day of the year, it’s Halloween!
And for the first time ever, those five doodles form a story based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon show, Scooby Doo.
The panels feature the Mystery, Inc gang as they attempt solve a mystery about a strange creature trying to scare trick-or-treating kids.
Of course, the gang did solve the mystery of who/what the monster is.
However, what remains a mystery to me is why are there basketball players in the third and fourth frames?
Why do you think?

Basketball players! Is Google implying that basketball players are…errr…scary? Well, that makes things a little easier for us. On next year’s Halloween party, I’ll just wear basketball jerseys.
