Kevin Love Has Monster 30-30 Game!

2010-11 NBA Season | Kevin Love Puts Up Monster 30-30 Game!

Category: Basketball

.....

In a home game against the New York Knicks on November 12, 2010, Minnesota Timberwolves center Kevin Love scored 31 points and grabbed 31 rebounds!

How amazing was that performance?

To put that in perspective, the last time an NBA player was able to score at least 30 points and grab at least 30 rebounds in a single game was 28 years ago.

This means that most of the great centers and rebounders in history were not able to achieve that feat.

That’s a long list that include Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Duncan, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Dennis Rodman, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Charles Barkley (although no one  has grabbed more than his 33 rebounds since 1996).

Moses Malone was the last time to do it in 1982 when he had 38 points and 32 rebounds in a game against the Seattle Supersonics while playing for the Houston Rockets.

Kevin Love scored 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the 3rd quarter as his team rallied from a 21-point third-quarter deficit to stun the New York Knicks 112-103.
