Part 1 of the seventh and final film based on the Harry Potter book series by author J.K. Rowling is finally coming to the big screen this November 19, 2010.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows also known as HP 7 is a two-part epic fantasy film that pits Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger on a quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort’s secret to immortality – the Horcruxes.
We have first seen the gang in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as they began their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry learning magic.
Now nine years, six films and $5.4 billion in worldwide box office receipts later, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger return for the first part of their final quest.
After unexpected events at the end of the previous year, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are entrusted with a quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort’s secret to immortality – the Horcruxes. It is supposed to be their final year at Hogwarts, but the collapse of the Ministry of Magic and Voldemort’s rise to power prevents them from attending. The trio undergo a long adventure with many obstacles in their path including Death Eaters, Snatchers, the mysterious Deathly Hallows and Harry’s connection with the Dark Lord’s mind becoming ever stronger.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is directed by David Yates and produced by David Heyman, David Barron and J. K. Rowling for a budget of $? million.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be released worldwide in 2D and IMAX formats starting 18 November 2010 and Part 2 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats on 15 July 2011.
