The Strikeforce organization starts the new year with a bang.

With  two championship belts in line, Strikeforce: Diaz vs Cyborg will be a delight for the fans.

On January 29, 2011 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, USA, Nick Diaz is set to defend his Strikeforce Welterweight Championship title against Evangelista Santos in the main event of Strikeforce: Diaz vs Cyborg.

In the co-main event, Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Ronaldo Souza defends his title against Robbie Lawler.

* Welterweight Championship bout: Nick Diaz (c) vs. Evangelista Santos - Diaz defeats Santos via submission (arm bar) at 4:50 of round 2 to retain the Strikeforce Welterweight Championship
* Middleweight Championship bout: Ronaldo Souza (c) vs. Robbie Lawler -  Souza defeated Lawler via submission (rear naked choke) at 2:00 of round 3 to retain the Strikeforce Middleweight Championship.
* Heavyweight bout: Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson - Walker defeated Carson via TKO (strikes) at 3:13 in round 1.
* Light Heavyweight bout: Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley – Gracie defeated Prangley via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:19 in round 1.

* Catchweight (165 lbs) bout: Ricky Jackson vs. Niko Jackson – Ricky Jackson defeated Niko Jackson via unanimous decision.
* Welterweight bout: Sam Bracamonte vs. Armin Safiari - Safiari defeated Bracamonte via unanimous decision.

This MMA event will be aired LIVE on network television at Showtime in the USA and on Super Channel in Canada on January 29, 2011. The LIVE show will start at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT / 3AM BST . The unaired prelims will start at 5:00 PM.

However, if you can’t watch it on TV, several sites will actually offer it for free like Justin TV, Freedocast, LiveStream and UStream. Six of the preliminary cards will be even shown at Sherdog.
