The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL).

Super Bowl is the usually the most-watched American television broadcast every year with hundreds of millions tuning in to see the highest level of competition American football has to offer. Yes, it is the largest sporting event in the USA.

Because of its high viewership, advertisers air their commercials during the broadcast of the event to gain the highest maximum exposure for their product.

Although it comes with a price… a hefty price at that.

Commercial airtime during the Super Bowl broadcast is the most expensive of the year. It’s $3 milion for a 30 second commercial.

Due to the high cost of investing in advertising on the Super Bowl, companies regularly develop their most expensive advertisements for this broadcast. As a result, watching and discussing the broadcast’s commercials has become a significant aspect of the event.
