Captain America: The First Avenger’s first official movie trailer was unveiled during the LIVE broadcast of Super Bowl XLV between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers last February 6, 2011 held at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA.
The 33-second trailer shows how Steve Rogers, deemed too physically unfit to enlist in the U.S. Army and fight the Nazis in World War II volunteered instead for Project: Rebirth, a secret military operation where he is physically transformed into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America.
It’s basically an origin trailer of sorts.

Captain America is played by Chris Evans while his enemy, The Red Skull by Hugo Weaving.
Captain America: The First Avenger is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011, in 3D theaters by Paramount Pictures.
