As the the fifth installment of the X-Men film series and a prequel to the first three movies, X-Men: First Class will focus on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants.

While the movie is set to be released on June 3, 2011, its first official trailer was unveiled on its fan page facebook.com/xmenmovies.

The trailer will show a young Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Erik Lensherr (Magneto) meeting for the very first time. It will then cut to various scenes showing various mutants like Emma Frost, Nightcrawler, Beast, Havok and Mystique as well as the Hellfire Club.

President John F. Kennedy makes a cameo as well.

We will then see how Charles Xavier became bald and Magneto choosing his black helmet, black and red suit costume.

X-Men: First Class stars James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. It also stars Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, the antagonist of the movie.

It is directed by Matthew Vaughn and produced by Bryan Singer.
