On February 20, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA, players from the NBA’s Western and Eastern Conferences will meet in this mid-season classic to play in an exhibition game.
It’s the 2011 NBA All-Star game!
The NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers both play host in the 60th edition of this game for the fans.
Both teams are represented; leading All-Star vote-getter Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol for the Lakers while super-rookie Blake Griffin for the Clippers.
The High Griffinition will also participate in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest as well as play in the Rookie vs Sophomores game. Heck, he is shooting .467% from the three-point line so he might as well participate in the Three-Point Shootout too!

UPDATE February 20, 2011: Kobe Bryant led the West to a 148-143 victory over the East and grabbed his record-tying 4th Most Valuable Player Award. Lebron James led the East with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for only the second triple-double in the midseason classic’s history.
