FIGHT DETAILS: Randy Couture fights Lyoto Machida in a title contendership bout for the Light Heavyweight title.

American Couture (19 wins – 10 losses, 7 KOs / 4 submissions) is a three-time former heavyweight champion and a two-time light-heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Couture is the first fighter to hold two UFC championship titles in two different divisions. Couture has competed in a record 15 title fights. He also holds the most title reigns in the UFC with five. Couture is one of the first members of the UFC Hall of Fame and many consider him to be one of the greatest in MMA history.

In his last fight at UFC 118 last August 28, 2010, he submitted James Toney via arm triangle choke.

Brazilian-Japanese Machida (16 wins – 2 losses, 5 KOs / 2 submissions) is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He is currently ranked as the #5 light heavyweight fighter in the world by Sherdog & Yahoo! Sports

In his last fight at UFC 123 last November 20, 2010, he lost via a controversial split decision to Rampage Jackson.
