After having seen Thor, I expected an after credits extra scene because in Iron Man 2, there was one showing Mjolnir standing head-down in the center of a crater.

So, when all the credits have been shown, there’s a line which states “Thor will return in The Avengers”.

Then, the extra scene follows.

SPOILER ALERT: Proceed with caution.

It shows Nick Fury presenting Dr. Erik Selvig a metal case with a cube-looking device.

When Dr. Selvig asks what is it, Fury responds that it is a source of immense power. The reflection on the mirror then shows Loki replying,

“Well, I guess that’s worth a look.”

Dr. Selvig utters the same line which means that either he is under Loki’s influence or he is Loki in disguise.

Anyway, the after credits extra scene presents little for the movie. I was hoping for a line from the upcoming Captain America or The Avengers movies.
