FIGHT DETAILS: Jean Pascal defends his WBC, IBO and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight Championship belts from challenger Bernard Hopkins. This is a rematch of their December 12, 2010 bout which was declared a controversial draw.

Haitian-Canadian Pascal (26 wins – 1 loss – 1 draw, 16 KOs) is the current WBC, IBO and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight Champion.

American Hopkins (51 wins – 5 losses – 2 draws, 32 KOs) is a former Undisputed World Middleweight Champion, and the first fighter to retain all 4 world titles of each major boxing sanctioning body, plus the Ring Magazine belt, in the same fight. Having defended a world middleweight title for a record 20 times, he is considered one of the greatest middleweights of all time. He is also a former Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight Champion.

FIGHT RESULT: Bernard Hopkins, 46 years old becomes the oldest world champion in boxing history when he outpointed Jean Pascal for 12 rounds.

Hopkins defeated Pascal via unanimous decision (115-113,116-112,115-114) taking Pascal’s WBC, IBO and The Ring Light Heavyweight titles.
