X-Men: First Class is the fifth installment of the X-Men film series, a prequel to the other films in the franchise that was released on June 3, 2011 in the United States.
It is an origin film focusing on the friendship between Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr before they became Professor X and Magneto respectively and the creation of their mutant groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. The film is set primarily in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis against the Hellfire Club.
Here are the characters from the movie X-Men: First Class as pulled off from the pages of Marvel Comics and given to life in the silver screen.
Professor Charles Xavier / Professor X (James McAvoy) – Founder of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, which provides a safe haven for mutants and teaches them to master their abilities. He possesses vast telepathic powers, and is among the most powerful Earth-born telepaths in the Marvel Universe.

Dr. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) – A CIA agent and love interest of Charles Xavier.

Azazel (Jason Flemyng) – A Hellfire Club member who has the ability to teleport across interdimensional distances, generate bolts and streams of paralyzing energy, as well as destructive energy which causes a form of disintegration, and can disguise his appearance.

Janos Quested / Riptide (Álex González) – A mutant with the ability to create powerful whirlwinds from his hands.
