The never-ending battle between the Autobots and Decepticons continues!

However, there will be no Megan Fox this time to provide respite from all the explosions and gunfire.

Even so, expect this movie to deliver stunning visual effects as vehicles and planes become giant robots ready to destroy and defend Earth at the same time.

Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro are set to reprise their starring roles, with Peter Cullen returning as the voice of Optimus Prime and Hugo Weaving returning as the voice of Megatron.

PLOT (Wikipedia):

When the war on Cybertron between the Autobots and Decepticons appears lost to the Autobots, their leader, Sentinel Prime, attempts to launch the Ark from their planet, containing technology that could have saved his kind. Attacked by Starscream, it crashes on Earth’s moon in 1961. President John F. Kennedy makes his famous promise to the nation to put a man on the moon. The 1969 NASA moon landing is actually an investigation of the wrecked spacecraft.

As Sam Witwicky goes into adulthood and tries to move on from Mikaela, the Autobots are busy as they learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft on the Moon and must race against the Decepticons to find it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto for a budget of $195 million.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is scheduled for release in the United States on June 29, 2011. The film will be presented in regular 2D, Real D 3D and IMAX, featuring Dolby Surround 7.1 sound. It is distributed by Paramount Pictures.
