Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is the third movie in the Autobots vs Decepticons eons-long saga.

While most of the Autobots from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen have returned and retained their appearance, some have undergone some changes as well.

Here is the list of Autobot robots that appear in the movie Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon that was shown starting June 29, 2011.

Optimus Prime – the leader of the Autobots. While he retains his vehicle mode of a blue Peterbilt 379 truck with red flame decals, he has been added a trailer similar to his Generation 1 counterpart. The trailer contains enhanced weapons, a shield and flight gear.

Sentinel Prime – Optimus Prime’s predecessor.  He serves as the main antagonist of the film. Alternate mode is a Rosenbauer fire truck.

Bumblebee – Sam Witwicky’s guardian. Alternate mode is a yellow fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. As in the last film, Bumblebee still expresses himself through his radio, his vocal processor having been damaged again in the time since the last film.

Ironhide – the weapons specialist and Optimus Prime’s right hand man. Alternate mode is a GMC Topkick C4500 pickup truck. He is killed by Sentinel Prime when he betrays the Autobots.

Ratchet – the medic. Alternate mode is a search and rescue Hummer H2.

Sideswipe – an expert fighter with his swords. Alternate mode is a silver Chevrolet Corvette Centennial convertible.

Wheelie - a former Decepticon spy. Alternate mode is a remote-controlled toy truck.

Brains – a former Decepticon mobile “brain unit” drone. Alternate mode is a laptop computer.

Dino (Mirage) – Alternate mode is a red Ferrari 458 Italia.

Que (Wheeljack) -an inventor. His head design resembles Albert Einstein. Alternate mode is blue Mercedes-Benz E550.

The Wreckers – an Autobot sub-team that transform into heavily armed NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chevrolet Impala stock cars equipped with machine guns. They function as a Commando Unit, and are mechanics, helping Epps rebuild an Autobot spaceship. The Wreckers are:

Leadfoot – applies his knowledge of science to create bigger and louder weapons for the Autobots and their allies. Alternate mode is a Juan Pablo Montoya #42 Target car.

Roadbuster – specializes in traveling across the galaxy to hunt down Decepticons. Alternate mode is a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. #88 AMP Energy/National Guard car.

Topspin – likes hard jobs that leave him dented. He is very tough, but has below-average intelligence. Alternate mode is a Jimmie Johnson #48 Lowe’s/Kobalt car.
