FIGHT DETAILS: Brandon Ríos defends his WBA Lightweight Championship belt from Urbano Antillon.

Mexican-American Rios (27 wins – 0 loss, 20 KOs) is the current WBA World Lightweight Champion. He got the title after defeating then champion Miguel Acosta via TKO in February.

Mexican-American Antillon (23 wins – 2 losses, 20 KOs) is the former WBO NABO and NABF Super Featherweight Champion

FIGHT RESULT: Brandon Rios stopped Urbano Antillon with 11 seconds left in the third round to retain his WBA lightweight title.

After two rounds of toe-to-toe slugging, Rios (28-0-1, 20 KOs) knocked down Antillon twice in the third round. Rios landed a left hook for the first knockdown, and an overhand right hand moments later sent Antillon face-first into the canvas.
