This time, it’s for real. No more sequels. There will be no Part 3.

The eighth and final installment in the Harry Potter film series based on the Harry Potter book series by author J.K. Rowling is finally coming to the big screen this July 15, 2011.

The story from Part 1 continues to follow Harry Potter on a quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort’s remaining Horcruxes.

Daniel Radcliffe reprises his role for the last time as the boy (now a man) wizard Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.

The supporting cast features Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter and Maggie Smith.

PLOT (Wikipedia):

After destroying one Horcrux and discovering the significance of the three Deathly Hallows, Harry, Ron and Hermione continue to seek the other Horcruxes in an attempt to destroy Lord Voldemort. However, now that Voldemort has obtained the Elder Wand, he aims to complete his final stage to ultimate power and launches an attack on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the trio return for one last stand against the dark forces that threaten to take over the Wizarding and Muggle worlds.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is directed by David Yates and produced by David Heyman, David Barron and J. K. Rowling for a budget of $250 million (shared with Part 1).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be released worldwide in 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats on July 15, 2011.
