Today’s Google Doodle: Freddie Mercury Animated Video Tribute
Category: Computers, Entertainment
.....
Today’s doodle from Google is reminiscent of the one they did for John Lennon last year.
In honor of Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday, Google made a video tribute for the man who was best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen.
When you click the doodle, an animated video will play featuring the Queen song Don’t Stop Me Now.
Mercury, one of the greatest singers in history was born Farrokh Bulsara on September 5, 1946.
Here’s the video if you somehow missed the doodle.
To know more about the musician, check out his Wikipedia entry. [Freddie Mercury]
