He successfully defended his title for the first time at UFC 132 and avenged the only loss to his record against Urijah Faber winning via via unanimous decision.

American Johnson (10 wins – 1 loss, 2 KOs/5 submissions) is currently ranked as the #5 bantamweight fighter in the world by MMA Fighting and #6 at MMAWeekly.

FIGHT RESULT: Cruz defeated Johnson via unanimous decision (50–45, 49–46, 50–45).
