Last year, Director Tom Six pushed horror to shocking new extremes when he introduced Dr. Heiter to moviegoers in the movie The Human Centipede (First Sequence).

It was one of the most controversial films ever simply because of its premise – a mad German scientist abducts three people and stitches them together in a chain on all fours, anus to mouth, to form one long digestive tract.

If that doesn’t make you squirm, I don’t know what will.

This year, prepare to be shocked even more as the sequel The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) comes this Fall. If you can watch it in the cinema that is, since this movie is so revolting and stomach-churning that is now banned in many countries.

It stars Laurence R. Harvey as Martin Lomax, a deranged sexually abused middle-aged fat man who became obsessed with the movie and decided to replicate it. But Martin intends to create not just a three-person centipede, but the “full sequence” of 12 connected people.

Yes, Part 2 is a movie about a movie.

Martin is a mentally disturbed loner who lives with his mother in a bleak housing project. He works the night shift as a security guard in an equally grim and foreboding underground parking complex. To escape his dreary existence, Martin loses himself in the fantasy world of the cult horror film The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009), fetishizing the meticulous surgical skills of the gifted Dr. Heiter, whose knowledge of the human gastrointestinal system inspires Martin to attempt the unthinkable.

The Human Centipede 2 is directed and produced by Tom Six for a budget of $? million.

The Human Centipede 2 is scheduled for limited release in the United States on October 7, 2011 by IFC Midnight.
