I was pretty amused with Eclipse – the third installment in The Twilight Saga by novelist Stephenie Meyer.

The training and fight scene between the Cullens/Quileute werewolves and Victoria’s army of newborns led by Riley Biers at least for a moment made me think this is how a movie about vampires and werewolves should be.

However for Breaking Dawn, I don’t expect action sequences as intense as that in Eclipse at all. After all, Breaking Dawn is a wedding movie.

This time, Taylor Lautner (as the werewolf Jacob Black) can do nothing at all as Kristen Stewart (as the human Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (as the vampire Edward Cullen) finally unites to create a new breed of vampire-human specie.. eer, not exactly. And that offspring will become the perfect match for Jacob.

PLOT (Wikipedia):

The newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world. After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Isle Esme for their honeymoon, where they finally consummate their marriage. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal. But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle. In the end of the movie, Bella, with her baby cut out of her and injected with vampire venom, finally wakes up from a coma. The movie concludes with Bella’s eyes opening, her eyes now red, implying she is now a new-born vampire.

Breaking Dawn is directed by Bill Condon and produced by Stephenie Meyer for a budget of $110 million.

Breaking Dawn is scheduled for release in the United States on November 18, 2011 by Summit Entertainment.
