FIGHT DETAILS: Dan Henderson faces Shogun Rua in a Light Heavyweight title-contention fight.

Henderson  from USA (28 wins – 8 losses, 13 KOs /2 submissions) is the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion and was the last Welterweight and Middleweight champion of Pride Fighting Championships. He was the only mixed martial artist to concurrently hold two titles in two different weight classes in a major MMA promotion.

He also became the first man to knock out Fedor Emelianenko, widely considered to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. He did it on July 30, 2011 at the main event of Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.

Brazilian Rua (20 wins – 5 losses, 17 KOs/1 submission) is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Rua is currently ranked as the No. 3 Light Heavyweight fighter by Sherdog and MMAWeekly.He is also ranked the No. 10 pound for pound fighter in the world.

In his last fight at UFC 134, he knocked out Forrest Griffin in the first round.

FIGHT RESULT: Henderson defeated Rua via unanimous decision (48–47, 48–47, 48–47) in a fight that was considered as one of the best fights in UFC history.
