In the midst of a sandstorm, Ethan Hunt chases a villain first on foot then by car in this clip from the movie  Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Tom Cruise reprises his role as IMF Agent Hunt in this movie.

As he is blinded by the raging sandstorm in Dubai (check out the Burj Khalifa scene), Hunt is forced to rely on a tracking device to find his quarry, which adds a measure of suspense to the chase. Add in the heart-pounding musical score and were in for another thrilling scene which the movie series is known for.

The car crash at the end where Hunt is narrowly missed by the flipping car is great too.

Watch the car chase clip from the movie below. It could even pass up as a commercial for BMW’s X3 and the new BMW 6 Series convertible.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol opens in IMAX on December 16, 2011 and in standard theaters on December 21, 2011.
