This is what Madonna said regarding her planned performance in the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVI on February 5, 2012, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

While the Queen of Pop has mellowed in recent years, expect her to give a performance worthy for the ages and remind everyone, that she is the original – Lady Gaga notwithdstanding.

But there will be no Janet Jackson-like controversies this time around. Also, FCC will be on guard to take control of the situation.

M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj will also perform alongside the Material Girl.

Madonna has her 12th studio album titled ‘”MDNA” set to be released on March 26, 2012.
