Last July 2011, a teaser trailer for The Avengers was attached to the post-credits scene of Captain America: The First Avenger.
It gave viewers the first glimpse of what promises to be the most anticipated superhero film this summer.
That superhero team will include Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Nick Fury among others which features an ensemble cast, including Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.
And what better way to unveil its biggest trailer yet than at the biggest event in US television, the Super Bowl XLVI held on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Disney paid an estimated $4 million for the 30-second spot.

The Avengers is scheduled for release on May 4, 2012 in the United States in 2D and 3D.
