The most prestigious awards night in the music industry is here. It’s the 54th Grammy Awards!
It is scheduled to be held on February 12, 2012 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA. It will be broadcasted LIVE on CBS from 8:00-11:30 p.m. ET.
Most of the awards will be presented during the Pre-Telecast Ceremony which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is next to the Staples Center, where the main telecast takes place. The show will take place from 1–3:30 p.m. PT. The ceremony will be co-hosted by Dave Koz and MC Lyte.
LL Cool J is set to host the main show. It’s the first time in seven years that the music industry’s premier event will have an official host.
The 2012 Grammy Awards are on CBS, which is KWTV CBS Cox channel 10 in Oklahoma City.
On February 11, 2012, the night before the awards, Whitney Houston was found dead due to a still unknown cause in Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. The producers quickly scrambled to plan a tribute to Houston, securing Jennifer Hudson to perform.

UPDATE February 12, 2012: Adele won six Grammys, including the Big Three: Song and Record of the year for “Rolling in the Deep,” and Album of the year for “21.”
