Can’t get enough of vampire movies?

By now, you must have already seen the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 sneak peek a few times and have already memorized the cheesy lines in it.

Yet, the final movie of The Twilight saga is still a long 9 months away. To while away the time, Tim Burton brings us another movie from his twisted mind, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

As the title implies, the movie is based on the 2010 novel of the same name by author Seth Grahame-Smith where the 16th President of the United States is portrayed as having a “secret identity,” a vampire hunter of course.

Now, how twisted can that be?

The official trailer has been released already and Old Abe can be seen welding an ax and he is a mean fighting machine.

The novel also states that the reason why Lincoln was against slavery is because, he discovered that vampires were buying people, not as laborers but as food. It was his belief that vampires will continue to exist in America as long as they can easily buy their victims in this manner – to end slavery is to end the scourge of vampires.

Now, how cool is that?

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and produced by Tim Burton for a budget of $69 million.
