FIGHT DETAILS: Jon Jones defends his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship title against former team mate turned rival, Rashad Evans.

Jones from USA (15 wins – 1 loss, 8 KOs / 5 submissions) is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He is the youngest UFC title holder in history. He is currently ranked as the number one light heavyweight fighter in the world by numerous media outlets,as well as the #3 pound for pound fighter in the world.

Since wrestling the title away from Shogun Rua at UFC 128, Jones has defended the title from two former UFC champions in a row: Rampage Jackson at UFC 135 and Lyoto Machida at UFC 140.

American Evans (17 wins – 1 loss, 6 KOs / 2 submissions) is the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He won the heavyweight division of The Ultimate Fighter 2. As of November 2011, Evans is currently ranked as the #3 Light Heavyweight fighter in the world by Sherdog and Yahoo! Sports.

He gain the chance to reclaim the title after winning handily over Phil Davis at UFC on Fox last January 28, 2012.

FIGHT RESULT: Jones defeated Evans via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45) to retain the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
