Stan Lee is one of the comic industry’s most iconic figures having created several superhero characters like Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, and others. He is also the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.

Known to many, he often makes cameo appearances in the movie adaptations of his comic book characters.

In the Avengers 2012 movie, he makes an appearance as one of the people being interviewed after The Avengers successfully repelled Loki and the Chitauri army.

Are they a threat, a hoax or real heroes?

Stan Lee’s character responds with,

“Superheroes in New York? Give me a break!”

He then returns to a game of chess with a fellow senior citizen.
