Two title fights will be presented at UFC 136: Edgar vs Maynard III.
The first one features Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard fighting for an unprecedented third time following their meeting at UFC 125 which was declared a draw. Their first meeting in 2008 at UFC Fight Night: Florian vs Lauzon gave Edgar his ever career loss when he was soundly defeated by Maynard.
In the co-main event, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will defend his crown against the always-dangerous Kenny Florian.
The undercard features a UFC Middleweight Title eliminator bout between Chael Sonnen and Brian Stann while Leonard Garcia and Nam Phan renews their rivalry anew with a rematch. Their first meeting went Garcia’s way in a controversial split decision.
