In the first year of this web site’s existence which lasted from February 12, 2009 to February 12, 2010, I was able to write 429 blog posts. On my blog posts, a total of 1,516 comments were left. That’s an average of 3.53 comments per blog post.

Excluded from that number were 6,303 spam comments captured by my Akismet spam filter.

Our son Arkin Wade was supposed to arrive on November 4 but he surprised us when he came unexpectedly via cesarean section at 11:33 PM of October 24. He was 10 days early but nevertheless, we were so happy to see him.

My wife Wendy bore him in her womb for 9 months and to finally carry him in our arms is such a thrilling experience for us. We longed for this moment to come and at last, it’s here. Arkin Wade’s arrival is enough for us to forget the pain we felt when Wendy had a miscarriage for our first baby last year. We did not lose hope and God erased our pain by giving us this little bundle of joy.

To officially welcome him to the Christian community and offer him in God’s grace, we had him christened last December 20, 2009. The day before, his Lolo and Titos and Titas from Kabacan arrived to help in the preparation.
