I was married to my lovely wife last December 22, 2007. For me and my wife to have something to reminisce and share to our future kids, we made a series of blog posts narrating the events before and after that memorable day. We titled the series, “Our Wedding Chronicles”. We made thirteen posts; each one  very detailed and with accompanying pictures, videos and music.

Since it is the wedding month, we are listing here all the posts we made. We hope to share some tips and ideas with you as you plan your own special day. We also want you to share the joy and happiness we felt on all the events that happened.

Along with the wedding album and portrait, Rey Rellon Studio of Davao City also made a video presentation of our wedding. Again, their expertise was evident on the finished product. It was produced on a DVD.

This is our arrival at the reception at El Manuel Convention and Entertainment Center, Cotabato City.

These are the events at the reception. This includes our prosperity dance and the cutting of cake and wine drinking.

This includes our pictorials with the guests at every table and the unique game we had.

The thanksgiving speech I delivered. This took me more than 10 minutes! Well, we have so many people to thank for who helped us to make our wedding a very memorable one.

We hired the services of Rey Rellon Studio of Davao City to capture the moments of the most wonderful day of our lives. The pictures the three photographers/videographers they sent (who were all experts and really know what they are doing) during the pre-wedding preparations, at the wedding and at the reception were all wonderful and terrific. The wedding portrait they made is also beautiful.

After four months of editing and proofreading, the wedding album they created was all done perfectly. See for yourself how beautiful the finished product is.

The album’s cover is made of wood (not sure what type) and engraved on a brass plate are our names and the wedding date.

The album has 38 fully-edited pages and is heavy at around 5 lbs while the pictures are also water-proofed. Overall, it was elegant at an affordable price that will not break your bank accounts.

Rey Rellon Studio who made it has their place at the back of Jollibee Bolton, along Ponciano St, Davao City.

At the entrance to the reception, we put a signature frame for guests to sign on and leave us their message. It was made of tarpaulin and was made-to-order by some of our office mates for us as a gift.

Aside from having framed in a box the items we used during the wedding ceremony and at the reception, we also have the signature frame enclosed in glass.

The signature frame is life-sized, 3 feet x 5 feet. We also have it framed at Pyl Green Frames of Davao City, the same one who made our box frame. We paid P1,900 to get the job done.

Our wedding was the most wonderful event that happened between me and Wendy. Aside from making this Our Wedding Chronicles series, we have items that will remind us of that special day and show to our future kids. One is the box frame. It measures 3′ x 4′.

The box frame contains items that we used during the wedding ceremony and at the reception like…

…the cake topper (abstract figure of a couple), the giveaways (ref magnets), the arrhae and the corsage worn by our ninongs/ninangs…

…the invitations (CD and formal), the liturgy, the cake topper (glass heart) and the pen used for the guest book…

…the wine bottle, the wine glasses, the giveaways (figurines) and the pair of gloves…

We ordered the wine at Crafter’s Haven, Davao City. It was customized according to what we want it to be.

Having all of these items boxed and put in a frame cost us P2,600. Pyl Green Frames of Davao City really made a good job in making this.
