24 has been one of my most favorite TV series ever (aside from Lost who had its series finale yesterday).
I remembered when Season 2 was tagalized (translated into Tagalog) by ABS-CBN last November 2003.
After watching the first episode, not only was I hooked but my brothers Macoy and Egi, brother-in-law Jo and our neighbor Abs as well.
It’s already 1 hour past midnight but the action still continues.
Threats of a nuclear bomb detonation was set in motion in episode 9 of 24 as Jack Bauer and CTU field agents set out on a covert mission to stop it.
What happens next?
As expected, Jack Bauer was tortured by Bazhaev’s men under suspicion he is a cop and he knows about the nuclear material in the previous episode.
As expected again, Jack escapes and kills his torturer. He even captured Bazhaev and gets him to tell them the location of the nuclear rods.
The plot thickens.
In the previous episode, President Hassan’s actions become paranoid and Dana’s ex faces capture.
We also see Jack Bauer escorted out through an underground tunnel, leaving his allies completely unsure of his whereabouts.
What happens next?
The suspense and drama of 24 Season 8 continues.
Despite averting the assassination attempt on peacekeeping leader Omar Hassan, Jack Bauer’s day intensifies when he is forced to go deeper undercover to secure the unsecured enriched nuclear materials. As international delegates reconvene at the United Nations, President Taylor’s goodwill comes into question and CTU races against time to assist with the mission.

At the 5th episode of this season’s 24, despite an interrogation that led to Ziya’s death; undercover Renee Walker is successfully welcomed back to the Russian Syndicate in New York after having worked with them as an undercover six years before.
Or so she might think.
