Two Brazilians faced-off in the main event of UFC 126 last February 5, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
There was not much action in the first 90 seconds as UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva and challenger Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort were feeling each other out.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Silva with his long left leg fired a straight front kick that hit Belfort in the chin.
At UFC 117, UFC Middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva almost lost his title when he was outclassed by his opponent Chael Sonnen for the first four rounds before pulling off a submission victory in the fifth and final round.

That thrilling fight was named as the World Mixed Martial Arts Awards 2010 Fight of the Year.
Prior to that fight, Silva was deemed untouchable with his ability to dodge his oppponent’s every strikes before unleashing his own. Sonnen proved otherwise.

Challenging him will be former Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort looking to regain prominence in the UFC.
