Osama bin Laden is dead.

The founder of the jihadist terrorist organization al-Qaeda and the man responsible for the September 11 attacks on the United States and numerous other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets was reported killed in a forty-minute firefight in Abbottabad, Pakistan with U.S. military forces on Sunday, May 1, 2011.

This was confirmed by U.S. President President Barack Obama in a televised address to the nation Sunday night at 11:30 pm EDT (May 2, 2011 3:30 UTC). DNA from bin Laden’s body, compared with DNA samples on record from his dead sister, confirmed bin Laden’s identity.

ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is a community-based organization that advocates for low- and moderate-income families by working on neighborhood safety, voter registration, health care, affordable housing, and other social issues. During the 2008 presidential campaign, the group supported Barack Obama but was accused of “massive voter fraud”. In return, Obama paid-off ACORN with $5.2 billion from its stimulus bill.

The hoopla behind that is not yet cleared and yet again, another controversy is rocking the organization: the Acorn Prostitute Scandal.

In commemoration of the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, which happened on September 11, 2001 eight years ago today, all of America will observe a Moment of Silence at 8:46 AM EDT – the time that the first airplane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

At the White House, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are expected to gather with the staff on the South Lawn for the Moment of Silence.

Flags will also be lowered at half-staff in accordance with Executive Order 2006-10 to honor the brave 2,974 souls who lost their lives on that unfateful day.

After becoming a victim of a Google bomb for the search phrase “worst failure ever” two weeks ago, Obama joker posters have appeared all over Los Angeles and Atlanta depicting Obama as Heath Ledger’s Joker character from the movie “The Dark Knight”. The caption “socialism” appears beneath each poster.

In an apparent attack to his administration, US President Barack Obama today fell victim to a Google bomb when the Google search result for the phrase “worst failure ever” returns his official biography from the White House web site as the number one result.

You can not find the phrase “worst failure ever” anywhere on Barack Obama’s biography page but how did it became the number one Google search result for that not really cool phrase?

Wikipedia says a Google bomb (or “link bomb”) is Internet slang for a certain kind of attempt to raise the ranking of a given page in results from a Google search, often with humorous or political intentions. It is achieved by gaining enough links on the said term to the targeted page.
