Chicago Bulls Signs Richard Hamilton

Richard Hamilton is now a member of the Chicago Bulls.

The leading scorer for the 2004 NBA Champions Detroit Pistons, Hamilton was waived by the Pistons on December 12, 2011 and immediately signed a 3-year, 15 million dollar contract with the Chicago Bulls earlier today, with the third year being a team option.

Hamilton joins 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose to form one of the most dynamic backcourt duos in the league.

Miami Heat Crying

The Miami Heat still have no answer for Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls as for the third time this season, they were beaten to give the series sweep to the Bulls.

Rose scored 27 points in his team’s 87-86 win while handing the Heat their fourth consecutive loss. And for the nth time, the Heat’s inability to win in the clutch has the league laughing at them.

It even became more interesting when during the post-game press conference, coach Eric Spoelstra told media,

“This is painful for every single one of us to go through this, there are couple of guys crying in the locker room right now, it is not a matter of want.”

2010 NBA Free-Agent Signings | Carlos Boozer to Chicago Bulls

After news of Dwyane Wade resigning with the Miami Heat and Chris Bosh joining him starting next season, the Chicago Bulls immediately secured the services of the next best power forward available from the 2010 free agent pool, Carlos Boozer.

After playing for six seasons for the Utah Jazz, Boozer leaves the team to play with the Chicago Bulls on a five-year contract worth $80 million.
