A UFC legend falls in Vancouver, Canada.
UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell may have fought his last inside the Octagon after a devastating knockout blow from Rich “Ace” Franklin in the main event of UFC 115.

The blow landed on Liddell’s mouth and badly split his lip, almost down to the chin.

Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell wants to knock Tito “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Ortiz out for the third time.
However, after having to grudgingly deal with him in The Ultimate Fighter 11 show for weeks, his chance vanished when The Huntington Beach Bad Boy revealed in Episode 10 that he has a neck surgery that requires immediate surgery.

UFC 115′s main event is supposed to be the third bout between The Ultimate Fighter 11 coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.
However, an injury to Ortiz (that was finally revealed in TUF 11 episode 10) put the fight in jeopardy.
Enter former UFC middleweight champion Rich “Ace” Franklin. He replaces Ortiz as coach in the show and will now be the one fighting The Iceman instead.

When Tito Ortiz bailed out due a neck injury that requires immediate surgery (see The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 Episode 10), Rich “Ace” Franklin was brought in to replace him as a coach opposite Chuck Liddell.
Franklin will also meet Liddell in the main event of UFC 115: Liddell vs Franklinl
This matchup between two opposing coaches of the 11th Season of The Ultimate Fighter TV series is scheduled this Saturday, June 12, 2010 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Both are former UFC champions and they will meet in a light-heavyweight elimination bout to determine the challenger to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua’s newly acquired UFC Light Heavyweight title from Lyoto Machida at UFC 113.
UFC 115: Liddell vs Franklin will be held on June 12, 2010 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
